As time drags on, there are becoming more and more reasons to choose a swap over selling an NA and purchasing a TT. This argument used to hold more validity, but we see more and more crap Zs in general, so hanging onto one that's in great shape, whether NA or TT, seems more valuable than it used to. My primary reason to opt for a TT conversion used to be because I'm (obviously) a big fan of the slicktops. For plenty of personal reasons, I just don't really care for t-tops. However, nowadays, the more I search for Z32s for sale (which I do daily), the more crappy ones I see for sale. Trust me, previous owners with bad taste don't distinguish b/t NA and TT, and will squander their funds on that poor taste regardless. On top of that, I generally enjoy working on a project, especially one involving my Z (or any Z for that matter), so there are a growing number of reasons to choose a swap over selling to buy a stock TT besides the obvious ones listed above.
