Message	I heard a story where a guy in LA ran one on a car stolen a few years back and it turned up in Texas. Apparently somebody bought it as a salvage title or something-or-raterh because they had recovered it abandonded. Didn't have plates on it. Don't know how it slipped through the cracks...but might be worth a shot if somebody has a current carfax account...
