| See profile for mods, please. I have auto turbos and cams, so probably don't breathe as much at the top end as a 5-speed turbo/cam engine. To me it feels quicker as-is to shift into 4th early, rather than wind out 3rd, hence I think I'm running out of air at high rpms. I have 5-speed turbo housings and cams, and if/when the engine comes out again I'll swap them in. I have the NA 4:10 rear end. I'm not into driving over 90 mph, so max top end power isn't my goal. I want to be able to go 50-80 more quickly. Or 40-60. Etc. Much under 40 and I'm in the meat of 2nd gear and can't really put the power down anyway. I had been driving on 5 psi (wastegate springs) for 6 months after my swap. Later, we messed with my AC and pinched a BC line. When I got wheels/tires and went to Hi boost (14-15), I was actually hitting 17Psi+. I liked the 17psi boost A LOT :-) I only hit it a couple times, and only for a couple seconds. I'd like to get closer to that 17psi feeling again, but more safely. What mods can I do for about a grand to get there? Used parts are OK if I can find good ones. Options, but not limited to: Intercoolers Injectors AFC+Dyno tuning Water injection Not interested in race gas or NOS. Thanks for any input,
