| half of that to the outside (or ~6mm in each direction). That puts my 18x10.5 +43 at the same location as a +37 (43-6) offset on an 18x10. My fenders are shaved a few mm as well. I know a few people with this 18x10.5 +43 offset, as it is a standard SSR size. Some have problems with a 275/40 tire (without fender modification), and some don't. The 295/30/18 is about 1.7" shorter than the 275/40 though. Tire specifics are important also, as some 275 or 295 tires have a larger tread width than others in the same size. That's why I suggested he get a beater tire to try, compare the specifics of that tire to the type/model he is shopping for, and to make a decision from there. SS
