| I don't drive my '95 that much (at all) anymore, but boost weather is here and I wanted to enjoy some seat time that's not on the track... I noticed back in the spring what might be an exhaust leak, so the car went up in the air and listened/felt around under it and discovered the driver's turbo/pcat gasket was leaking. Closer investigation showed the two bottom nuts had backed off. Tightened everything up and no change. hmm... well stick some ultra copper on there and we'll get back to it later. Couple weeks ago I finished washing and waxing her and then drove to work the next day... damn.. still have an exhaust leak. Guess I'll have to try to get the driver's pcat off with the trans in. After a bit of struggling last weekend, I decided it was going to have to get done the hard way. Take the very long road to the very small house to get this completed. Get the trans dropped and get the pcat off yesterday. Anyone explain this??
I've done a lot of work on Z32s over the years and I've never seen some crap like this before. Put everything back together today, started her up and seems leak free now. Weekend was split with Z-Lab activities... Almost done getting my fuel slosh solution installed.
