are drunk hillbilly mother effers. I just got done trying to DIY a simple front shock(s) install. First; they scatter the tools you need to pull the wheel all over the car. behind the drivers seat is the tire tool. under the fuel tank is the jack. in the tire well is the handle for the jack. i set the parking brake and broke the handle... in the process, i cause the seat belt retension device to lock completely..."thank you officer, i'll have another ticket". i got the wheel off (just one) after about two hours of cursing, yelling, and tears. If I where a lady, I'd kill myself if I ever had to change a tire. the old shocks didn't come off without a fight...i dont think this car was meant to have shocks...pos. the new shocks went on after I broke a brake line mount. yeah, this is going well. the bolt up went good, considering everything else. the passanger side was just as bad...after I had to remove the heating overflow lines...gee thanks corvette. in summary...after owning both a corvette and a Z for over three years (Z for 5)...I can honostly say... "the Z was meant to be user friendly" "the corvette was meant to be corporate friendly" (Ie give em shit and charge em double for it...call it a "feature") ps, this is a C4...so maybe the C5s are better...NAH... /vent = off.
