Message	i know this is the case...because the exact same thing happened to me......exact!!!!! at 1 point...it was soooo hard to shift i had to literally use both hands to get it into gear. I had to use extreme force to shift from 1st to 2nd to neutral. i know this is his prob because he said the shifting was ok again after AAA came to see him. well...there was time for the shifter bushings to cool down and shrink a little. and as soon as it gets warm/hot again....extreme force again will be needed to shift. believe it.
