Message	I'm not sure how much the interior pieces saved you on, but that is extreme and not really all that light considering the aesthetic conditions. Put back the interior pieces that is needed to keep the aestethics and work on lighter rims, battery, parts, etc. My NA1-T without the spare, trunk mat and tool kit, weighs that much. I still have full interior and will still have that even when I hit 2800lbs or so. All of this while my top still comes off and enjoy the open air. If you DD it, you gotta have the basic interior man, just my thought. I plan on doing weight reduction on a Slicktop once I procure one also. I'm glad you gave me some insight of wat to expect with extreme interior removal and that def will not be my measure.
