So after yesterday's "encounter with tranny failure" on the way to Stillen, I called Level 10 this morning to inquire on why this keeps happening to my tranny. I spoke to one of the many helpful guys over there (New Jersey) and I explained what happened. He provided one probability, which was that one or more of the torque converter bolts came off while I was driving, or that it's something internal. In either case, he said Level 10 will send out a represenative to the tranny dismantler (hopefully Greg D.), access the situation and "take care of it". Damn!! Now that's what I call good service. But of course it doesn't make up for the fact that it broke down in the first place. Who's to say who's responsible.....Stillen or Level 10, but in any case it seems that Level 10 is standing behind their product and is willing to go the extra mile to make good on the products they sell, even if it's been bought a couple of years ago. And I think that deserves a little recognition.
