| I think the 2008+ Bugatti Veyron also has a targa model and All Koenigsegg models (2004–present)have a removable top. My point is that it's not completely gone just yet. ;) I like my t-tops and it's one of the reasons I bought a Z32 over a Z33. I felt a little bit claustrophobic in the Z33 plus I was a little bit disappointed in the build quality compared to the Z32. I did a little bit of an overhaul on my t-tops this year by replacing the weather strips and the interior t-top trim. While I had it apart I used liberal amounts of RTV sealant to tighten things up a bit. The tops never did leak but I don't notice as much squeaking as before. As much I love the t-tops, to be quite honest, I hardly ever take them out unless it's an 80+ day. It's a hassle taking them out and storing them and I'm always nervous about tripping. All that hassle aside, the rush of air on a nice day is priceless, it just makes driving the car all that more of a blast!
