i had the most ridiculous weekend, but managed to make it to this event today a little late...i was in Austin all weekend, stayed up all night last night, took a 6am flight back to Chicago this morning, slept 2 hours, then made it to this open house where GRD Performance up here was dyno-ing cars, had free food and drinks, and lots of people just came to hang out and look at some very nice cars...there were a lot more cars than i have pics for, mostly Subarus...i had a lot of fun and glad i made it to the event enjoy the pics...i stole the first 3 pics and the closeup of the single turbo from Pat_Kono and his SLR...nice to finally meet you today

RB25 2+2 Z32...i believe the single turbo was a GT42R...i very briefly talked to the owner for the first time today, he did the swap himself

video of it on the dyno...it put down 609rwhp on the first run...then he blew some vacuum hoses or something, and the rest of the pulls were useless...i don't believe the car was tuned properly Click here to watch "RB25-300ZX-Dyno"

Pat's very very nice Sapphire Blue TT...the paint on this thing is AMAZING!

this Z32 had a twinturbo.net sticker...but didnt see the owner and not familiar with the car...who is it?

and of course, the GTR...i spoke to the owner for prob 45 mins...he was really cool...he was an older guy...he wasn't a Nissan enthusiast or fanatic, but he was a car enthusiast...he was telling me all sorts of stories of how he got it, what he paid, things about the car itself, a story about how some delivery truck took a GTR (not his) off the delivery truck and took it for a joyride, etc...he let me sit in the car and check it out, i had never sat in a GTR till now...
he daily drives this GTR...he doesn't have extra space in his garage, so he parks it outside in the driveway! lol...he said it will get the garage in the winter since he won't be able to drive it then

a girl in the club from chicagoz.com

that engine bay does look familiar...
i just sat in the car for a few minutes, but i really liked the interior...the first thing i noticed was how the seat hugged your body...i liked the gauges...and i really loved the center console setup with the aluminum and screen

yummm, R34
