| It was always a mistery why the U.S auto sector (and peole in general) was so driven on new gas guzzlers when the gas crisis started in the 80's. This situation should have been easy to predict, given the steady rise in gas prices since the mid-90's. I know this is really only happening due to the overall economic down-turn, but the new car market is an imediate reflection on the way consumers spend their money.
