Message After weeks of anticipation, tiresome twinturbo.net posts, letters of intent to Stillen, telling my friends of my problems, getting massive support from you all, and all the hooplah with my cylinder, I'm headed down to Stillen this morning, and 6 FREAKIN MILES away.............MY LEVEL 10 TRANNY GOES OUT!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't mean it just slipped out of gear, I mean full-on grid to a halt. I mean come on, this is an automatic transmission for God's sake! It doesn't take rocket science to take care of it, my only question is WTF happened. But here's the good part: once I called triple A, the guy (vatos) get's there with a flatbed that's taller than the height of my car. Then he goes on saying that he'll put some boards under the tires to help it on the ramp. I guess the IDIOT didn't realize that 4 x 4 boards wouldn't stay stable without cutting the boards into a ramp. So while he's telling me about some other fuck up rookie employee he works with that can't load a flatbed, my car slips off the wooden boards and spiderwebs my $6000 chameleon paint job on the center of my Wings West front end. So after trying so many times to get the damn car on the flatbed ramp, I almost started to feel like the towing guy and said "fuck the damn front end, just get it on, and I'll deal with it later". But then I thought of the repercusions later on when I get the tranny and engine fixed, I'd regret it later. So in the end, he finally couldn't get it on, and he was removing the tow line. In the process I removed a block from under the wheel and it crushed his hand severely. Needless to say, I got a little revenge, but now I had to wait for another tow truck to tow it. Eventually, I got a veteran tower to do it and he flatbedded it without any incident. And what made it interesting is that his flatbed was the same size as the other guy's. So word of warning: if you ever need a tow in the Huntington Beach (California) area, DO NOT accept towing from American Towing!

Actually it's very ironic that the tranny went out on me now, considering it did the same thing before I got it back from Stillen the first time (when they built the engine). And it's funny that it would happen on my way there. So instead of towing it to them, I coughed up $300 bucks to tow it back to L.A., figuring they'd (Stillen) charge me to store it. And on top of that, they'd probably charge me to remove the tranny to take a look at it.

So of course now this means that they can't install the GREDDY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COOLER (someone must hate me out there) for a while, they can't check out the cylinder problem, and I won't be able to go to any shows or Z events for the rest of the year. And to make matters worse, the registration on my daily driver (2000 Yukon Denali) is due tomorrow. So to some it up this is the worse day in a very long time.
