Message This post is a little delayed. I posted on my350z.com a month or so ago but am just posting it here now.

Car is ready to go and I think I am officially broke! I got the cage painted, and SPL setup the Lifeline Zero2000 fire suppression with one nozzle for the driver and one in the engine bay. They also installed the required SFI roll bar padding, a new electrical kill switch and relocated the battery with a marine battery box. I purchased a new FIA rated Sparco Pro Adv head containment seat and Schroth 6-pt camlock harness from them and had them installed. The seat is 12lbs heavier than the SPL CF seat I had but it provides more protection and satisfies the NASA requirements for right side head protection and being FIA rated I don't need a seat back brace.

I also got a HANS Sport with sliding tethers and a new Sparco Spy-05 SA05 helmet that was on clearance from PST up at MSR-Cresson. Bought a Sparco Top5 suit along with a set of nomex and carbonx underwear. Just treated the suit last night with Molecule. I am going to roast my a$$ off in the car with 100 degree + temps and all this gear on! I should have kept my air conditioning.

We also did some maintenance on the car to get it ready for racing. I rebuilt the front Stoptechs and I had SPL install new front hubs and even longer ARP wheel studs. Stiffer 14kg Swift springs were installed and the car was lowered even more.

I want to give a huge thank you to SPL Parts for the cage fabrication all the race prep work they've done on my car. It's been a ton of work getting the car ready. All I really did is paint the cage and rebuild the calipers-they did the rest.

I also want to thank Andy Gleasman at Torvec for sponsoring me with one of their Iso-Torqueâ„¢ Differentials. http://www.torvec.com/products_isotorque.html I am long overdue with a writeup on my last track event when I tested it out at TWS a few months ago. I was very pleased with the new found traction and the ability to get into corners much faster and get on the throttle earlier with the confidence the rear end will stick. I was able break into the 1:56's with this diff installed vs my previous best lap in the 1:58's.

On to the pics:

Fire suppression and electrical kill switch

Relocated battery again(does not interfere with passenger seat)

only slight trimming of the dash required

Kuah took this pic while disabling the steering lock

before the Sparco Pro Adv was installed

New Momo steering wheel and Lifeline FIA quick release hub.

SPL also built a new floor and installed an OMP foot rest to match my OMP pedals. You can see the easy access to the fire suppression pull lever in the old stereo location.

Fully gutted doors, custom mounted handles

They also performed a string alignment since new springs were installed and ride height lowered.

Decals for safety crew

couple exterior shots. sitting pretty low now.

battle scarred fascia

I need to take more recent pics with the new Sparco Pro-ADV seat installed and the Stroud window net. I also need to do a writeup on my first weekend racing door to door a month ago.
