: I got a third opinion yesterday on the "problem". Lin, over at JEL (Japanese Engine Land) didd multiple tests on the cylinder and narrowed it down to one possible problem. He said that he's 80% sure that it's not the piston, and goes on to say that it looks like the valve......How can this be? When Stillen did the engine, they were suppose to do a 3 and 5 angle valve job. He also went on to say that the car was running really rich, and I'm getting detonation in ALL cylinders.
Does this dude know what he's doing? He's "80%" sure? Why not do a leakdown test on the valves. Simple as that.
