You may actually want to port the turbine inlet 1mm over the stock exhaust housing outlet port. I know that most exhaust manifolds on N/A cars are designed like that at the head so as to prevent exhaust reversion. Now granted the exhaust dynamics of a turbo car are more horrific in terms of flow than an N/A engine but it could help. The exhaust manifold see pressures in excess of the intake manifold, in turbocharged cars at study state. The waste gate plays a major role in preventing this. All theory but it may be worth testing out in the future. Too bad you can't do a before and after dyno to see the effects at the wheels.
