I would like to know what AF numbers are considered safe and desirable? I know leaner is desirable for power, I'm looking for a "safe" tune, erring on the side of caution. Can't afford to replace my engine if it blows. My car is used for street and occasional track days. I'm currently running about .95-1 Bar, or ~14PSI. I will run that setting at track days. I will also be tuning the B setting of my boost controller to around 17 pounds for the occasional drag race and pounding around on the streets (not for road course track day use). I haven't gone that high before because I want experienced "ears" listening for detonation when I do it. Besides that, on the street I'm not sure I would hear it with all the road and wind noise at speed. Heck, I'm not even sure what detonation sounds like I've only heard others describe it. Any help is appreciated.
