I got a third opinion yesterday on the "problem". Lin, over at JEL (Japanese Engine Land) didd multiple tests on the cylinder and narrowed it down to one possible problem. He said that he's 80% sure that it's not the piston, and goes on to say that it looks like the valve......How can this be? When Stillen did the engine, they were suppose to do a 3 and 5 angle valve job. He also went on to say that the car was running really rich, and I'm getting detonation in ALL cylinders. Whatever the case may be, Steve (Millen) told his staff to check out the problem and report back to him when they find out what the source of the problem is. In the mean time, they'll be installing that Transmission cooler they forgot to install way back when. And as for the JUN cam gears, Ryan forgot to add it onto the list of things I wanted to put on the car when they built the engine. I had it on my "to do" list for him when we first started the project, but he never added it on to their list, so now I have to either get them (from another source now of course), or wait until I get the money for them. So with all that said, I'm on my way to get all this drama put out to pasture. I'll post the results when I get back later this afternoon. Wish me luck.........
