I don't fully believe that post anyway. Unless you plan to run in the 10's, which Kyle and Tim did (and they had independent suspensions) I don't think it becomes a factor. A solid axle would be better when it came to wheel hop, but that problem can be solved with upgraded suspension components. Kyle ran an NA suspension with his TT, which gave him a better gear ratio and eliminated the HICAS for him, which is about extreme as I would personally get. A Z is known for its handling, and that would be totally sacrificed with a solid axle, unless of course, you're creating a drag car, gutting the interior, etc. Just my $0.02.
