this is a preference thing, so not taking anything away from your comment. but i tell you, not having a grip adative is wonderful. I can work under a car and skootch around with out tearing my clothes (no creeper, or desire to have a creeper) Mops super easy if spills get nasty, or out of hand. Sweeps incredibly easy for the same reasons. Thats my experience, VERY happy with out grip. PS, yes, it gets slick when wet, but not unmanagable.
:2: Dont do the color flakes on the floor if you work on your car. Drop a washer or small clip and you'll be there all day trying to find it. Dissagree with this one too. Mine is a solid color floor. The slightest little mark or scuff (epoxy glue drops in my case) show like crazy. It's too easy for the light solid colors to get 'dirty' with small oddoties in a used garage. It's unavoidable. I'd rather have thrown some chips around and top coated it, then have it a solid color. Oh, and dragging a 110pound transmission across it doesn't help keep that perfect look either... another reason to have the chips. Drag marks. Jack Stand Marks. Or 2 ton Hydraulic Jack wheel marks (Mine are metal wheels). IMHO
