Message	who considers their gas budget. I think I averaged 11-12 in city daily driving, 18-20 on the hwy. My 750il with the updated M73 V12 engine did 15-16 in the city and 22ish on the hwy. Don't buy a cheap 850i, they'll eat you alive on maintenance. Low mileage, clean examples with service history and the rare 6-speed manual transmission will cost you 2+ times the amount of a TTZ. The 840i isn't the model to get (its a heavy car) and I don't think the CSi model is worth the premium given what is available for that price in newer cars today. I had my e31 experience, nice car but time to move on! The cheap ones are waiting to have 10-15k in remedial work done on them...
