I would have asked SZ if they were even interested in doing a group buy to
begin with. If they were interested, then that would be a good time to ask
around for interest. Once interest was realized, you then relay that info to
SZ to see what they think.
The thing about group buys though, whatever number of people claim
interest, expect to subtract at least a third of that for drop outs and possibly
even higher drop out numbers for items that are so expensive. So if you
need a certain amount of names of interest, make sure you get a bit more
than you need. Clear as mud?
