| 1) What is your past with performance cars? Do you even know what 400 rwhp is like? 500? 600? You seem to talk very casually about Sport 700's vs. Specialty Z's 900's. Do you have any idea what you're getting yourself into? 2) What do you know about this engine that was rebuilt? I've been around a long time and there aren't many that rebuild these engines properly. We usually stick to a select few shops when rebuilding the engine (Specialty Z, Mike Smith, Kyle at IPP). You seem to be destined to make the mistake that many make here. They get in way over their head and end up wasting a buttload of money and end up blowing up their engine. If you don't know much about that rebuilt engine, I wouldn't want to be flowing 500 horsepower through it and hope it holds up. 3) This isn't really a question. $8K isn't going to cut it. I would budget $12K-$15K.
