I've been calling around trying to find a good paint shop at the same time I've been considering doing it myself. I live in Rochester NY, and I've called about 4 different places in the Rochester area and none of them will do fully body paint. I just bought a Jspec fascia and only one of them is even willing to paint that but they want 350$ to do it. Is that a reasonable price?
I've also asked all 4 places that said no if they had any recommendations for paint shops that would do my car and they all said they didn't know of any that would do it in the area. I can't believe there isn't one shop in the area that specializes in doing quality paint jobs. One explained to me that it's because all the cars up here get so rusted out it's just not worth it.
Any other Northerner's that have run into similar situations have any advice for finding a good shop?
