: How do you go about getting them? How much do you get paid or get discounts on? Cuz I don't see too many Z's with sponsors. I mean you can't really bad talk them too much seeing as how TTPete has that Primespeed banner, and well his car is the shtit :-) It's like getting a job (almost). You need to make a proposal to the company showing your car (of course), mods, what events you've been in, any awards, any previous photoshoots or previous articles, other sponsors, what you plan on doing to the car, future events, etc etc. Basically, you need to prove to the company that your car will get coverage. No one will sponsor a car in Boise, Idaho if the car doesn't go to any events and doesn't get seen. It's all in the proposal... even my slow ass NA picked up several sponsors when I was racing it :) I picked up 3 sponsors for my Miata even before my first autocross race and I'll have several more after the end of this season.
