Message with same thermostat in place why would the temp be any different at idle. all that a bigger radiator would do with same thermostat would be to keep operating temp more consistent under heavy load ie not over heat as quickly. Temp is pretty much governed by the thermostat. oversized radiator with stock thermostat doesnt make much sense to me. you would get better gains by simply switching to a colder thermostat. Use a colder thermostat w/either stock radiator or larger one for best cooling performance. Nismo thermostat works great.
