Message Well, my Z is on the road again. In April I took my Z out and she stalled on me twice, started blowing a lot of smoke. I took her in to my shop and had the master tech look at it. 15% compression in # 3 and # 5.

Had the rebuild done by this guy, ASA and Nissan master tech. The story was that my block was pretty clean so no major needs in that department. However, my heads were just so gunked up two of the valves weren't closing at all. So, I had the heads reworked and fixed cleaned up and painted black. I got brand new OEM rods and pistons and hardware, replaced all the gaskets and the turbos and most of the hoses. I'm waiting on 555cc's from Japan that I will most likely install over the winter when I get my plenum powdercoated. She drives like she never has before and I am so impressed with how clean the engine runs. I've been driving her tentatively for the past 3 weeks but I am extremely happy.

Took a couple pictures today, thought I would share.
