like.  As Tony said, 335 will be plenty, and is more-appropriately sized for that size wheel.  In either event, you'll need a sticky tire to get traction with a lot of power.  Tire width, alone, will not cut it.  I tried and tried many tires, sizes, brands, etc., and ended up with a BFG Drag Radial sized 295/35/18 for my limited street-use.  It still does not hold 2nd gear, but it's the best I've had so far. Good luck, SS
