Somebody mentioned something once about taking out the hood latch, using dremel to make the bolt holes extend further down thus allowing to push the latch even lower, yada yada yada... Here's a simple fix. Just hit the metal piece which the latch is attached to with a hammer (downwards of course). Use a piece of wood to make sure the impact is distributed evenly. That way you won't just bend the metal piece, but rather make it go down a little bit evenly. I used literally two slams of the hammer, once to the left of the latch, then to the right of it. Not only I can't see one scratch on the metal, but my hood is aligned perfectly.
