| When I got my AVS wheels back in April... the fenders were rubbing on the hard bumps. So today... I finally got around to rolling my rear fenders. Got the roller from http://www.rollyourfender.com/index.html. He lives just up the road from me in Irving and has 5 fender roller kits. Getting the roller to and from him was uber easy. The before shot. You can see the cuts in the tire.
The roller and washers. A heat gun was also supplied.
Attached to the wheel hub. Found out that the roller fits better with the hub centric ring off.

All centered and ready to go.
 Rolling to da right...
About as far right as you can go...
Rolling to da left... This is as far as I went left because...
I was hitting the rear brake caliper and it seemed as good a place to stop as any. I thought about adding some washers in between the roller and the hub to get some clearance... but I could see myself going too far with this and making an uncorrectable mistake.
The after shot... and yes I cracked the paint in a few places on my first fender... probably went too fast or didn't heat the paint enough... or both.
 Another after shot.
This really wasn't that hard.... not having ever tried anything like this I'm happy with the way it turned out. Lessons learned... Rolling the fender in small sections is a must... As in rolling small sections of fender at a time as well as small changes with the tool to increase the angle. And when the directions say heat the paint... heat the paint! Don't think I had any cracks on the other side. Is it perfect..? Nah... But I am pleased with the results. The it's almost a clean car shot.
BTW... I'm not rubbing anymore on the bumps.
