Message because of space going to 9 or 3 position works fine.
In a 3 inch pipe at 3 O'clock position I seriously do not see condensation dripping in the sensor. We use Innovate wide bands and they are huge in the industry. The instructions state 3, O'clock is fine.

The down pipe is not where the sensor should be on a Z......
Even in the text you posted it states the sensor should be 40 inches from the nearest exhaust valve.......They are speaking of a NA application.....With a Turbo car the heat is held between the turbo and exhaust valves. Mounting the sensor in the down pipe is simply too hot.
