Message	to budget constraints, I would expect that Nissan would include that technology on the GT-R if it yielded tangible benefits for more power. I suspect that the cost vs. benefit ratio isn't very good and that's why it's not widely used on turbo cars - note the C6 Vette Z06 uses a similar set up, so maybe that's where the performance gain is realized?
