Here's another upgrade I recently. I'll share a few photos and points that may help anyone who wishes to go with this setup. Here's where I put my Boost Solenoid (as suggested by Seb at Specialty Z):
Dash pic before I removed anything. Previous owner had a GPS system mounted in the lower DIN:
Previous owner (Rocket Scientist) told me that he had "pretty much eliminated all the squeaks and rattles in the car." I guess wrapping the wires in cloth quieted things down:
I didn't like the way the Displays fit into the stock lower DIN pocket. Trimming would have been required. I remembered I had purchased a Pocket Deck with a flip-down door that I had seen on this site. It goes in a Maxima, and someone on this site had a photo of it installed in their car. I ordered one thinking I may use it in the future. Well, low and behold, after removing the door off the front of the pocket, the Displays fit perfectly with no trimming required.

I sourced a lightweight piece of angle from the hardware store to serve as an added backing plate to support the Displays:
Sawed off the back of the DIN Pocket:
I filed the bottom outward edges of the angle to allow clearance for the cords to pass:
Used some heavy duty double-sided tape to secure the Displays to the angle:

The finished product:
I also liked what some others on this forum have done to conceal the Displays with the BOSE speaker cover, so I went with that look:
 That is all for now.
