Message	No, he more than likely won't "beat" it, unless the officer didn't clock you( and tell you he didn't ) or pace you. But he can almost certainly get the fine reduced by pleading no contest and giving the judge his explanation in a polite and courteous way. It's the "humanizing" that helps, you show up and the judge has to see that it's a person he's dealing with, not just another case number.
