| The jackass who I bought my Z from stole some rims off another car and put tires on it that rubbed in the fender well. I always said I would ignore it until the tires needed to be replaced and it looks like that time is now. I took off the front driver's side wheel and the tire is worn down completely on the inside shoulder (where it rubs) Additionally something I didn't notice until now it was also biting into the side wall on the inside at the top and I think I found a piece of the plastic in wheel well that matches up to it. That particular piece had none of the clips in holding it back, so I bought some, clipped it back and trimmed off the piece at the bottom which was rubbing. It had 255/40/17's on 17x8.5 +30mm(offset) on the front, and 275/40/17 on the rear (I havnt had the tire off to measure the rims yet) Anyways Im replacing the front and I ordered a pair of 245/35/17's from tire rack. I'm pretty sure this will negate any clearance issues, however the new fronts will be about 1.4 inches shorter than the old ones, which were already obviously shorter than the rear. Should only lower the ride height by 1/2 that much (0.7ish in) but I'm worried it will look like the car is nose-diving down the road. so back to the topic, do you think this will look ridiculous?
