While it may not have done much, I can't help but think that strip had the bare minimum at end-track. No sand, no pit and what seemed to be an elevation change that allowed it to launch. Takes some cojones to launch a rocket at those walls and hope your chute does it's job or that you're awake to release if it doesn't automatically. Rest in peace dude.
