Subject	Carfax Clean Title History Guarantee?

Message	Just wondering if anyone knows whether the $5000 or 10% of wholesale value that Carfax pays out (if the vehicle has a damaged title that is not reflected on the carfax report) is any good if you don't have an account with them. Basically if I used a friend's account to get the guarantee, will carfax still honor it? I have not actually found a conflicting title, but just checking in case. I read through their terms and conditions, but it doesn't state anything about it. Thanks, Kope
