Message then I actually lost 7rwhp with the addition of Stillen intercoolers, test pipes, and a JWT Intake (over K&N). I think it's much more likely that I gained 38rwhp as my calculations suggest.

I believe they connected something to monitor engine RPM but also used a preset gear ratio rather than letting the computer calculate the correct ratio. This is the only explanation I've been able to come up with to explain the results, and it seems to explain them very thoroughly. I could explain the math behind why I think this must be true, but I've done that on two other forums and, frankly, I'm tired of explaining it. =p

I love elitists who aren't really elite in any way... they amuse me greatly.
