The thing is that this car is truly terrible in everyway. The seats are so uncomfortable and offer absolutely no support. The leather feels cheaper than vinyl (it kind of feels like plastic). The brakes are very spongy and weak. If you apply too much pressure to the brake pedal you’ll have to fight the steering wheel to keep the car going straight because the lousy suspension can’t do it. This is also the case in 1st to 2nd gear shifts where the car tries to switch lanes sometimes. The steering wheel is another huge problem since it feels disconnected from the car and you have no clue as to what it’s trying to do. Then there’s the fit and finish: parts don’t fit right and the quality of the materials is horrendous = various squeaks and rattles. The shifter feels like it came out of an 18th century train…. and the list goes on. I’m sure that I left out some things, but in a nutshell, this car is simply appalling.
As for the dead battery, I was out of town for two weeks and when I came back it was that way. Thank God this happened because I felt like a little kid being forced to go to the dentist when I opened the garage door and saw it in front of me. I really didn’t want to drive it! I haven’t gone back since because it’s not worth the jump start IMO. I just can't believe that someone would trade the Z for any F-body.
