The haze is oxidation along with the wrong Ph used in the water and products your used. Strip the old materials off the car with agood clay bar and polish as a lubricant. Then polish and wax. Used distilled water to wash. Regards : After washing and waxing my Z, if I look at the hood at just the angle in the right light it looks a bit hazy. Do I need to use a polish to clear this up? Is it just some dead paint or oxidation or something? Any recommendations?
