Ok so as some of you may know, last year my engine blew, cracked ring landings from detonating, sent my block to IPP, got it back, refreshed my heads, put her back together with new gaskets, and sport 500's. All was well till today. I installed ams ud pulley and water pump pulley with the bilski one. Started her up let her idle for long made sure I had no coolant leaks, and took her for a drive, all was good, until I hit the highway. did a fourth gear pull and all of a sudden water temp went to 260 degrees, shut the car off and stopped to the side, opened the hood, and there was coolant everywhere!!!!! Looks like the radiator popped, filled her up with some water to drive it back home, car was still overheating like crazy!!, managed to limp her back by shutting her off and letting it roll as much as possible. when I got home, I took off the radiator cap and I could smell gas, I could also smell gas in the oil on the dipstick, so I am guessing it is my head gasket, wtf!!! everything was new except the heads, now I have to tear it all apart again, and send out the heads to be rebuilt, I am hoping my IPP block is still good cuz it has less than 3k on it.
