Message Okay everyone. I have been talking with some of you via email for the past few weeks, and due to their suggestions I will put this on the net.

I have been an avid z31'er for 6 years now and have worked and rebuilt them for years longing to join the z32 team. Finally, about a month ago, I bought a Black 91TT with 60k original miles with a perfect cloth interior and excellent black exterior that had been driven into 8in of water at 60mph for 3660$. The water that went all the way through the turbos and into the intake siezed up the left turbo and broke the #6 rod. This car was in Miami, and I am in SC so I had to tow the bitch up here with my girlfriends Jeep. Anyway, I wanted to swap the engine at first, but the cheapest new one I could find was 2500$ which is my maximum spending limit not including gaskets, hoses, turbos, and everthing else I wanted to do including the interior. So through advice from tt.net members, I have begun the rebuild myself. I began tearing the car apart about two weeks ago with only the help of the Docs on tt.net since i still haven't gotten my manual in the mail from the guy in Canada that we all see on ebay. I did all the work by myself. I only had to buy about 50$ worth of tools above and beyond what i already had, and rented an engine hoist from u-haul for 20$. By the way, I have done all of this in a 10X20 Public Storage bin that cost me about 75$ a month. (Don't tell Public Storage thought! I have to work on it at night in order to aviod the owner) Since then, I got the engine out an to the machine shop at Napa who told me that my #6 cylinder was so pitted, that it would need a .75mm bore. Since I am in the .50cent club, I cannot afford the 600$ in turbo pistons that I see some guys buying and I have opted to buy a used block, and reuse my orignial pistons with new bearings and rings. Or, I might buy from Ruzzell in Temple, GA who I think will give me a new tt short for 1200$ plus my exchange. This is where all your guys help is going to start to come in. Like I said, I got my service manual today, but I am still having trouble picking the new rings, and bearings for this car since I know that there is some sort of crazy equation that i am supposed to follow. This however, is only the beginning, we are going to put this car back together one piece at a time, on tt.net. I am going to need everyones help and input in this matter, and hopefully the finished product will be something that we call all be proud of! Any little pieces of wisdom or ideas for more power would be great! So those of you who are still reading this, I appreciate your interest in the matter, and any input whatsoever would be most greatly appreciated!!! Hopefully, in the future, if anyone ever wants to do this rebuild themsleves, they will be able to find these listings and learn from then. So I say to all of you....It begins!!!

P.S The car already had a new 450hp clutch, new master cylinder, new brakes, new HICAS pump, and new Greddy 3in catback exhaust, and the boost jets. I already bought the stillen louvered panel, stillen intake kit, still strut tower bar, new Z logo, Courtesy Nissan rebuild gasket kit, new vacuum and water hoses, and have already had a valve job on both heads. I still need to buy a black front fascia, the jwt stage III chip, some random trim pieces, and of course I want to white out the tailights and corners, and am considering having some parts ported and polished if I can find the right price!

For some reason, I haven't been able to get pictures to appear on tt.net so hopefully these links will work, otherwise, if any of you are interested, I can send you some good pics. Thanks again!
the car.
