I don't know if the "sound" advice that some forum members are giving you is falling on deaf ears or not. It just seems like you're not listening to it at all. I've put in my two cents a few times regarding street racing, getting a cage installed, etc. I know you take your Z to the track as often as possible, but that still doesn't make what you're doing on the street any less dangerous. To put it as simply as I know how,..."Legal" vs "Illegal"...with no room to rationalize what you think is a grey area in the middle. If this fact doesn't sink in right now, I'm afraid the only time it will is when your Z is impounded - then crushed, and you find yourself behind bars as a result. Even if there are no other people around on the freeway...it's still against the law, period. Octavian, there are law enforcement officers monitoring this very website right now! If you think otherwise, and continue to participate in deviant behavior, I'm sorry for you. You're a good kid, I believe that. I like you as a person, and think you're fun to hang out with...you're personality is quite unique. Observing your behavior over the last year alone, it's obvious to me that the fame and attention you've been receiving is addicting...you keep pushing the envelope further and further. I just think that those who idolize you, constantly egging you on to the next street race, are not your friends...and they could care less about the risks you're taking. They just want to be entertained...to see a youtube clip of you breaking the law. There is ZERO risk for any of those people. Other people racing against you are suffering from the same problem...and addiction. Just because a group of individuals ban together to celebrate their beliefs and participate in their reinforced illegal activities...that doesn't validate anything. The law is the law is the law...and ANY person or group of people who disobey it will inevitably suffer the consequences. Please don't take my friendly plea the wrong way, I just don't want to witness a member of the Z community self distruct. It's your life, and you get to make your own decisions...I just hope you start making better chioces from here on out. You can live your life and do a thousand things the right way, but one wrong decision can wreck everything that's important to you. Continue taking your beast of a Z to the track, get it tuned and dialed in as best you can, put a cage in it to cover your ass...and continue having fun and making "kills" the right way. I'm saying all of this as a concerned friend. This is the last time I will offer my advice and try to influence your behavior. This is not a lecture, and I'm not shaking my finger at you like a frustrated parent...this is only advice, and you can do with it what you will. Best of luck to you Octavian, and I hope to see you at the track sometime soon. Rant over. -Josh
