I have driven all over the United States. Some in my Z, some before I had my Z. I have Cruised up and down the East Coast, the West Coast, and from coast to coast a couple of times. I could write pages of the good times I've had and the places I have been and seen. One thing I would tell you is to avoid driving on I-70 from St. Louis to Denver. By far the worst stretch of interstate I have ever travelled. The expansion joints will drive you insane and the lack of places to find fuel in Kansas is downright scary. To be fair, that was back in 1990 so maybe things have changed but I kind of doubt it. I have done trips that I planned out every minute making reservations, setting up tours, knowing where I was going to eat every meal and so on. I have done others that I just went with the flow. Most of time, save a couple, the go with the flow trips turned out better. For example, not having reservations in Vegas turned out to suck ass. Do it and have a great time. Nothing like a good road trip!!
