If everything you say is true, get the Z!! I got my car after about 4 months of driving my parents explorer. I am now 17, sure I"ve only been driving it for slightly over a year...but no tickets, no accidents, no warnings. I, like you stay away from a lot of the other crap that goes on in my high school. Your 4.0 GPA tells me more then it may others, that shows me that you know your priorities and can act accordingly. Sounds to me like you could be one of the very few young drivers mature and responsible enough to handle a car like this. HOWEVER, do take Got Rice?'s advice, maybe take a performance driving school to learn your limits...then never go near those on the roads. Only drive with friends who you are confident will encourage you to drive safely as opposed to test the cars limits. You're going to get a lot of crap for being a young owner of such a powerful, and at times difficult to drive car. (in the rain, trust me it's easy to spin the tires). Just keep your head on straight, and prove to everyone on the forum, as well as your parents that you can handle it. Good luck
