All good points. True some are wants. But why would i want to have a Z looking badly. Seriously!! So some are wants. Affording it is not the issue here. If I can afford to go buy a new one i can afford to spend the money on the Z. I guess the best advice is investment vs. return. On the one hand, I invest time and money as opposed to just money. I guess mty thing here is I started to rebuild but didn't realize how much more time it would take. But again, i see some of the Zs here and think, I could do that!! And when you own a Z, people take notice. I mean, even in the condition the car is in, grown men drool over the fact I own a Z. That's just the pride thing there, sorry. So let's go back to my list Paint - definitely, the last paint job is peeling injectors - should chagne those out since I want to tune up the car Speakers - I'm not trying to get huge ones just replace the old ones Speed sensor - Definitely. Thanks NEFLYTE for the fix tips cargo carpet - Not that expensive besides it just looks ugly when it's not there front bumper cover - yes. i had to rip the lower half because it was hanging low. The previous owner tried to use ties to hold it up. Obviously I would need the gaurds as well. I'm not a mechanic. I've been learning alot about fixing cars since owning this one. major items (like changing belts) I've sent to get done. It does feel good to fix something and notice the change. The car runs really good now. When i bought it, I had to replace the transmission, fix the belts, spark plugs, stereo, injector connectors, brakes, tires. So yeah it's been a ride. So my list on top is the priority. The other hard part is trying to find parts for the car. Especially in San diego!! Does anyone know where to find them in SoCal? Thanks for the adivce guys.
