: Cause when I look at the posts about them you have: : Screen name:: AgentZ- : Stage IV 1991 Twin Turbo coupe : says "I had A520s before and now the Kumhos. Traction is about the same except those A520s are nosiy as hell and cost more $$ even with the 255/40/17 to the kumhos 275/40/17. " : niXit(da][as)- : Stage VI+ 1991 Twin Turbo coupe : says ".... : I can't quote this guy, he has a really foul mouth. He does like the Kuhmos also, and thinks they stick great! : Altered BeaZTT- : Stage something good+ 1990 and ex-1995TT Coupe : says "They stick as good as my Toyos did when I 1st got my Toyo Proxis T1, then T1+. The Toyos didn't stick but for a couple months, then they spin with ZERO traction and no sound. These are so far holdin their own and priced great. I've had a few years with Zs and owned 3 to compare, the Kuhmos are a great tire so far and well worth it." : Now, these are 3 modified TT coupes and 3 drivers never known to talk out of their ass unknowingly =). Why would your Z be always losing traction and you say these tires suck when we all have well over 300 RWHP and are impressed with their traction? Just because tires squeel, doesn't mean you're spinning out, or have lost traction. It means the tires are grabbing and some of the tread is flexing against the blacktop as it grabs. Throw some nice clean new grippy court shoes on and listen to them screetch on the gym floor, that's traction! Now put some slippers on, are they screetching as you slide from half court outa bounds? heheh That's NO traction. I'm messing, but for real about the screetching. My Toyos made NO sound when I lost traction, I would just sit as they spun. The Kuhmos screetch for me to, but it's pulling hard the whole time it screetches, that's not spinning. If you're sitting in place with no traction without power breaking, your Z has some balls for an NA 1st off. You might want to get the tires checked out if you got an old/bad batch. The stickier the tire the more it has always screamed music to me. My BFG's screetch LOUD when I get em heated up. Please don't bring your squeeling Impala into this, it's completely different case. Differen't weight, suspension, and tire size. Put some BFGs on it and get em heated up and you'll hear them screaming at you also.
