Message I was thinking, wouldn't running a lower compression piston at high boost be the same as running a higher compression piston at low boost? In my head it's really the same thing. From what I know the boost pressure is in a way just increasing the compression ratio of the cylinder, so based on that, then why don't people do that? Perhaps there are some other factors or issues to running high compression pistons that I don't know. Since most cars that don't have a turbo option when they are turbo'd are starting off with a little on the higher side compression, so why don't they have issues? I know that they're usually limited to the amount of boost they can run, but they still run with their high compression pistons and a turbo. On a side not who was it that was running his TT with the NA pistons, and what happened after he blew his motor?
