Subject	Longevity of the VTC solenoid?

Message	Mine both appear to be working via testing but I've got the driver's side one leaking a fine spray of oil from around it so I'm going to need to pull the plenum to reseal it with RTV. Seeing as they are about $300 for a pair I don't really want to replace it (them) as a preventative maintenance thing if it's unlikely that they're going to fail. Anyone have them leak from the solenoid itself or are they pretty reliable?
