Message It's not going to risk the roof over my head or the food in the fridge, but it will make thing's pretty tight for a while. My wife and I live pretty well below our means, our monthly expenses are a bit under half of our monthly income, but we do have our first baby on the way in december, and the point of living below our means was to eliminate our student loans. the extra money for the car would mean minimum payments on the loans for a few months while we pay off the car work.

I really want to know about the technical aspect of this, the car never had any noticeable misfires, knocks, anything like that, so should I be relatively safe running 13-14lb's of boost (stock injectors) without being 100% sure of the condition of the internals? Is the score on the crankshaft going to risk my engine going BOOM down the road some how? Is this something that is a serious problem or is it just something that's going to have me replacing the rear-main every 3 years?
